Fire Signs : Aries , Leo , Sagittarius

The fire signs have a lot of energy and drive within them, they tend to be assertive and have strong skills of convincing and willpower. They tend to overeat and overdrink when they are agitated or restless. Fire signs are usually excitable and get agitated easily. Their areas of impact on the body is the liver, gall bladder, the blood circulatory system and the digestive system.


Aries aries

Aries rules the head, neck and the face area, which is the anatomical place connected with the zodiac sign. Aries people are good at thinking quickly and are able to think and solve problems very quickly. They are able to look through different situations faster than other people.

Due to their inherent quick thinking nature they need to have more of the minerals useful for muscle and nerves –  for example banana, brown rice, walnuts, onions, cauliflower, cucumber, spinach, dals, broccoli,  pumpkin, tomatoes, walnuts, olives, anjeer etc.

Aries as a sign need to watch out that they do not consume too much food which leads to nerve exhaustion. The food elements which lead to nerve exhaustion are too much of salt, spices, tea and coffee. All these are nerve stimulants which cause over stimulation of the nerves and lead to stress in the fire sign.


Leo leo

This is the fire sign which as per the human body impacts the blood forming spleen, the strength giving spinal chord and the heart. As a result they are most impacted when they do not take care of their back or have food low in Iron and Vitamin B complex and also due to the fact that they have a fiery emotion.

The food which they eat should be good for the back muscles and the spinal system, good for the production of blood and circulation and also good for the heart.

Green foods like spinach, a lot of green vegetable juices, fruits rich in iron and folic acid, foods like raisins and khajoor,  citrus fruits rich in Vitamin C (oranges, lemons, amla). Since circulation can be a problem with the Leos, specially if they eat food rich in fats and cholesterol, it is prudent for the Leos to eat a lot of salads and greens in their diet and also consume low cholesterol foods.


Sagittarius sagittarius

This fire sign is governed by the actions of the liver and in the body it impacts the hips and thighs.

The liver is the biggest organ of metabolism and this is the organ which actually controls the digestion and also the metabolism of the food eaten. This fire sign has to be careful as their anger has a tendency to affect the liver. When the liver is affected then it can react by slowing down and becoming sluggish which makes the woman put on weight around the hips and thighs or it can lead to a pot belly obesity in men. It could also lead to indigestion, burping and gas.

Alcohol and heavy non-vegetarian food should be consumed in limits by this fire sign specially if they are angry, agitated or going through a stressful period.

Foods which are favorable for the Sagittarius person includes – whole wheat grains, barley, pineapple, foods rich in enzymes, citrus fruits, soya and soya products.

Common Food for Fire Signs

While the individual differences are there amongst the different fire signs, they can benefit from taking the following things in their diet:

  1. Alkaline food like fresh green leafy vegetables, spinach, lettuce, salads, vegetable juices.
  2. Fruits like melons, banana, apples, pears, guava, berries and cherries.
  3. Coconut water and coconut milk.
  4. Herbs like aloe vera, methi seeds, barley, wheat grass.
  5. Cereals like brown rice, barley.

Foods to avoid

  1. Alcohol
  2. Spicy foods and deep fried foods
  3. Red meat
  4. Too much packaged foods
